In just a few short weeks you will embark on the vacation of a lifetime! Before you begin your journey to Miami, read through the information below for smooth sailing.
All guests must be fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to embarkation, October 20, 2021. Proof of accepted vaccination against COVID-19 must be verified prior to sailing and shown at the cruise pier to board the ship.
For ships embarking or disembarking at U.S. ports, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and/or World Health Organization (WHO) authorized specific vaccination protocols. For the most up-to-date list please visit ncl.com/sail-safe.
Along with your eDocs, you'll need to bring proof of COVID-19 vaccination, and your passport and/or required travel documentation. Every guest needs to have proper identification and proof of vaccination to board the ship.
Preferred proof form is the original vaccination record document issued by either the country’s health authority that administered the vaccination or the guest's medical provider that completed the vaccine administration, however, photo of vaccination record document will also be accepted. Electronic vaccination records will be accepted for residents of countries where electronic documentation is the standard issued form. Confirmation email of vaccination appointment will not be accepted.

All purchases on the ship are made with your Norwegian keycard. As you complete online check-in, you will be asked to put down a method of payment for all your onboard purchases. All purchases you make on the ship will be tied to this method of payment. We recommend doing this in advance to speed up your check-in at the terminal on boarding day!
If you prefer to wait, you may set up your account during check-in at the terminal. If you prefer to set up a cash account, you will do that on the ship.
Read up on all the details here.
Once checked in, you may book a shore excursion for our day in Great Stirrup Cay, make dinner reservations for a specialty restaurant, or book an appointment for Mandara Spa to relax and rejuvenate.
Our event schedule will be released soon so you can plan a time that works best for you!
Once everyone in your cabin has completed online check-in with Norwegian, you can print out your eDocs. (You will not be able to print until all guests in the cabin are checked in.) If your party is traveling and arriving to the terminal together, you only need to print and bring one copy of your eDocs.
This option is available on Norwegian's website up to 72 hours prior to sailing.

Lighten your load! Check your bags with a porter before you enter the cruise terminal for easy boarding.
Bags will be delivered to your room by 8:00pm ET so be sure to keep anything you might need in your carry on bag (passport, medicine, etc.).
*Please note that curbside porters are not employees of Norwegian and it’s customary to tip them $1 per bag.
You can keep your shoes on but belts and laptops will need to go into a bin for screening. Also, wine and champagne need be taken out. Just like at the airport, throw away open drink containers, and empty your pockets.
For your theme night attire, please keep in mind that anything that may look like a weapon may be seized by security agents so it's better to leave those items safely at home.
If you brought wine or champagne, stop at the table immediately after security to pay the corkage fee of $15.00 each for a 750 ml Bottle or $30.00 each for a 1,500 ml Magnum. Yes, you still have to pay the corkage fee if it's a twist off bottle of wine.
The ship's crew will make an announcement over the loudspeaker when all cabins are ready and that happens around 2:00pm.
Remember, should you choose to check your bags outside the cruise terminal, know that they may be delivered as late as 8:00pm, so keep items you’ll need until then in a carry-on.
